Hi Chaney,
There is software that can be installed on a PC that will scan a QR Code. I believe that QuickMark still provides this. You would need to install the software, open it, point your webcam to the printed piece, and it should scan the code.

But from everything I see, the ideal scenario for scanning a QR Code is on a smartphone.

Tell us about the so-called “Dumb” phone… is there any readers that we can use for these phones? Also can they read any codes?

Hi Guys:

Put the URL link behind the logo of the QR reader company. I can’t click on the logo to get to the site. It’ll clean up the page also. No big deal. As they say, “the devil’s in the details”. Good stuff!
