I was excited to see that redbox has jumped on the QR Code train. I happen to notice that redbox is using QR Codes to promote their smartphone app. Redbox has placed a QR Code on their “vending machines” and you can scan the QR Code to download their app. right to your smartphone. The app. allows you to search for new movies, find a redbox location and also reserve the movie that you want.
